Sample with simulated data

What do the results look like?

This Indeks Kognitif Nusantara sample report uses simulated data, not real participant results.

  • General cognitive ability (GCA) summary
  • Scores and categories for eight subtests

GCA is formed from four subtests. Detailed Number Series and Work Mathematics interpretations are not included in this sample.

Reports and sample questions are shown in Indonesian, the assessment language.

What does it help you understand?

Which abilities help a person make sense of unfamiliar information? IKN Umum maps cognitive ability within the CHC framework. Eight subtest options cover reasoning, visualization, memory, reading, code matching, and numerical skills. Their composition is selected for the assessment purpose.

Measurement coverage

CHC (Cattell-Horn-Carroll Theory)

1. Abstract Reasoning (PAB)
Finding balance rules through figural weight problems.
2. Verbal reasoning
Understanding and analyzing information in words and sentences.
3. Visualization
Imagining changes in shape and position visually.
4. Working memory
Holding and manipulating information in mind at once.
5. Reading comprehension
Grasping the content and intent of written text.
6. Checking Speed (KPE)
Matching letter-number codes quickly and accurately.
7. Number Series (DEA)
Finding patterns and relations in number sequences.
8. Work Mathematics (MTK)
Applying mathematical knowledge to word problems.

Contexts of use

  • Mapping cognitive strengths for individual development.
  • Discussing learning readiness alongside educational background and experience.
  • Organizational assessment requiring a cognitive profile, with appropriate norms and intended use.

Interpreting results

A cognitive profile is not a measure of a person's overall worth. Interpret scores alongside education, testing conditions, and other information. The manual's age range does not imply equally strong normative evidence for every age group.

What do the questions look like?

These introductory examples use practice-guide material, not an operational item bank. Some diagrams and choices are adapted. Examples are shown in Indonesian, the language used in the assessments. No assessment scores are produced, and your choices are not sent or stored as test results.

Adapted practice example

1. Penalaran Abstrak (PAB)

Perhatikan timbangan pertama. Bentuk mana yang menyeimbangkan timbangan kedua??

Evidence and references

The technical manual reports testing with 1,554 participants, including internal consistency and factor structure. Review that evidence for the population and decision involved. The public paper below concerns cognitive measurement research, not direct validation of IKN.

Distinguish instrument evidence, response-design research, and theoretical foundations before using results for decisions.
